Have a Smaller Wedding

There are many reasons why anybody would like to have a small wedding. Having a wedding is a huge stress for any bride and groom small or big but a smaller wedding is less of a stress. Having to deal with the cost of having the wedding is also a stress and this is another reason why many brides and grooms would like to have a smaller wedding.

Ask any couple that you know that has had a big wedding what they would like to change about it and they will more then likely tell you the size. You should always consider large weddings from time to time. Many people that plan their weddings do it in hopes that it will be small however they have no idea how to make this happen.

Family pressures can help throw any wedding guest list out of proportion. One of the good ways to avoid this from happening is to plan to have your wedding in a smaller area that can only have a few people. If you are having a smaller wedding you should not have the pressure to go all out and have expensive decorations. Smaller weddings help the bride and the groom be more at ease.

Having a wedding is based on intimacy and by having a smaller wedding make this a lot easier for the bride and groom to do, which is like large weddings. It is simpler to exchange wedding vows in front of the people that you know well rather then many that you do not know too well.

Another way that is great to cut your wedding down to size is to have it on a day that is inconvenient for many people. For example you could have your wedding date during the week, by doing this people who are scheduled to work will not be showing up and the people who are very close to you will be there. This is typical of most large weddings. Or you might choose to have your wedding the day before or after a holiday such as Christmas or Thanksgiving and this is when most of the guests will have other plans to attend.
