Once a moving company has been selected, and dates for the move confirmed, it is time to begin the process of packing. Some people prefer to do all packing themselves, which is completely fine, and a moving company can provide you with all needed supplies such as boxes and packing tape. Other people don’t want to have to worry about all the organizing and stress that can go into packing and unpacking, and there are full service moving companies that offer these services.
Moving day has arrived and your trusted team of movers will arrive to load the truck. As accidents do inevitably and occasionally happen, please know that your chosen moving company should have insurance to offset the cost of damages, repairs or replacements. If you were to move yourself, please be mindful that those same incidents would be at your own expense.
As with packing, unpacking can be done by yourself, our by the moving company. Depending on the level of contracted services, the movers will unpack the boxes and remove all packing materials or they will leave the boxes unpacked in the desired space.
